VIAJE A LA MONTAÑA UNIVERSITARIA
El rito universitario.
La palabra "universidad" proviene
del Latín: universitas y está compuesta de unus (uno) y verto
(convertido), o sea "dado la vuelta hacia uno" o "convertido en uno".
"Unus" expresa un integral que no
admite división.
Universidad tiene la misma etimología
que universo y universal.
Estas palabras expresan una multitud
de cosas diferentes, pero en sentido de unidad.
Universitas se usó para designar
cualquier asociación o comunidad orientadas hacia una meta común.
La primeras universidades de la
edad media (Bolonia, Oxford, Cambridge, Padua y París) fueron llamadas
"Universitas Magistrorum et Scholarium" o sea "Asociación de Maestros
y Alumnos".
Era en aquellos lugares donde el
viajero se encontraba y paseando por el campus de la mano de ella comprendió
a su lado el significado de aquellas palabras. No flowers bloom no wedding,
